Farmers Market Consultation

November 5, 2014 by admin

Farmers Market Consultation:  The Glendale Trust are investigating whether it would be feasible to set up a farmers market to promote local produce to residents and visitors.  As part of this study they are gathering information from local producers, tourism businesses and local residents on their views of a potential market. As part of this a telephone survey of households will be carried out in the next few weeks.  Overall, the recommendations from the research are expected to be completed by mid December 2014.  If you have any thoughts or views on the potential farmers market, please forward them to Jean Hamilton who is leading on the study – jean.hamilton@jhltd.co.uk.”
